What will be the dues paying structure now that it will no longer be deducted from my paycheck?

Our website allows you to make automatic payments via Credit or Debit card. Active members (Agency Employees) will utilize a 4-tier system based on basic pay. All other category members’ annual dues will be renewable for January 1, 2026.

When will we start dues collection?

Dues Collection is expected to start in June 2025 using our system. Expect to receive an email with a link to sign up!

What do my dues pay for?

Your dues are vital to the operation of our organization and the advancement of our members and communities in numerous ways. Though this list is not exhaustive, your dues contribute to: Scholarships, Legal Fees, Travel and Transportation Expenses, ACE Camps, STEM and Outreach Events, Training Workshops, Recruitment Efforts, and so much more. What is the purpose of the NBCFAE?

The NBCFAE’s mission is to be an advocate, thought leader and preservationist of career advancement in aviation fields, provide community service across the country, increase employment education and resources, including networking opportunities. Another important purpose is to empower our youth by creating access to aviation education and careers through scholarship and continuing aviation education.

Being a part of the NBCFAE means that you have a desire to make a difference in the lives of many. Paying dues, volunteering and participating in meetings allows the NBCFAE to have an equal voice in our professional outcomes.

The NBCFAE helps to build new leadership and encourage our members to challenge the status quo. The NBCFAE’s vision is to strengthen the community of members with information that provides access to positions for professional success. The NBCFAE envisions a future where every aviation professional has a path free of racism, sexism and inequality to reach their maximum potential.

Our NBCFAE members are risk takers, creatives, innovators and willing to contribute to the goal to make a difference now and for future generations. Being a member of the NBCFAE means you are adding to the broad range of talent and knowledge of aviation which then can create a greater opportunity for personal and professional development for all.

Are we having a National Training Conference in 2025?

We will not have a National Training Conference; we will have a virtual business meeting. Look out for an email with the details for the event.

It is important that our members participate in the business meeting to ensure quorum when voting to improve our bylaws in this fluid, changing climate that we are in. The goal is also to update and modernize our processes and to hear the needs from membership.

Will we have another town hall before the business meeting?

Yes. The executive board will look at the safest most seamless way to accomplish this. Each town hall will cover a specific topic to give each important question the time it needs to be addressed and give time for the board to answer follow up questions after the town hall.
